Job Description

  • Swift Transportation is hiring now within 50 miles of Kansas City, San Antonio, Dallas, Laredo for an Autohaul CDL-A driving job based out of Laredo, TX with bi-weekly hometime. Average $1500 weekly Drivers can earn trip pay based on a calculation of dispatched miles that ranges from $.50 to $.54 CPM depending on route and verifiable experience Weekly paychecks CDL- A Required: 6 months experience Home bi-weekly Hometime: Bi-Weekly Skills: Exceptional backing skills Flatbed Securement Equipment PPE Ability to climb onto 4’ 6” tall flatbed trailer from ground Ability to throw 4 inch strap weighing 7 lbs over 11’ tall load from the ground Ability to pick up 120 lb tarp, carry it 100’, and set on ground. Then lift the same tarp and place it on top of a 4’ 6” tall flatbed trailer Responsibilities: Weekend work Holiday work HP Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid Class A license. No DUI within 10 years if CDL-A holder, none within 5 years if Non CDL-A holder. No more than 1 on-road or DOT preventable loss in the last 2 years. No more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 2 years. No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years. No serious traffic violations in the past year. No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test. No drug related conviction in the last 5 years. No use of illegal drugs, positive/refused tests in the past 10 years with CDL-A/CLP.
