Job Description

Wiz is seeking a Senior GTM Data Analyst to join our Go-To-Market Analytics team in New York City. Reporting to the Senior Manager of GTM Analytics, you'll serve as a dedicated analytics business partner—owning dashboards, data models, and insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with senior and executive stakeholders to surface actionable data that shapes execution and business priorities.

About the Role

The GTM Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across Wiz. As the company scales within Google Cloud, the need for reliable data foundations and actionable insights has become increasingly important. In this position, you'll combine analytical rigor with technical fluency to identify high-leverage problems and deliver impact that extends beyond traditional reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GTM leadership to shape business questions, define analytical requirements, and deliver insights that influence strategic and operational decisions.
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards, self-service reporting, and analytical tools that provide stakeholders with fast, accurate visibility into performance, trends, and opportunities.
  • Own and enhance core data models and pipelines using tools such as dbt to develop well-structured, reliable, and scalable datasets powering GTM analytics.
  • Collaborate across IT, BI, Data, Operations, Finance, and Business teams to strengthen data infrastructure, improve data quality, and establish standardized metrics and definitions.
  • Conduct advanced analytical work including exploratory analysis, statistical testing, regression modeling, segmentation, funnel analysis, and other methods that surface actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage AI and modern analytical tools to increase the speed, quality, and scope of analysis, documentation, automation, and data exploration.
  • Represent Analytics in cross-functional initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and build scalable solutions that create leverage for broader teams.

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years of experience in analytics, data operations, consulting, business intelligence, revenue operations, or similar data-focused roles.
  • Strong analytical fundamentals, including advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with complex datasets, data models, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Clear communication and sound business judgment, with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems and complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and technical adaptability, including willingness to learn new tools, experiment with AI-enabled workflows, and expand into adjacent areas such as Python or modern analytical modeling.
  • Familiarity with modern data tools such as VSCode, Github, BigQuery, dbt, Python, and Looker is advantageous; however, the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies is valued above familiarity with any specific tool.
  • Must be NYC-based and have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Benefits

Compensation for this full-time position includes base salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. The US base salary range is $125,000–$172,000 USD, with individual pay determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additional details on Google benefits are available to qualified candidates.
