Sales Solutions Engineer - Digital Native

The Sales Solutions Engineer - Digital Native role at Semgrep supports technical sales of the company's code security platform. This position is open to remote candidates across the United States, with a hybrid preference for the San Francisco office. The role focuses on customer integrations, proof-of-concept delivery, and technical guidance during the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Semgrep platform into software development lifecycles
• Own technical aspects of the sales process, including product demonstrations and proof-of-concept executions
• Educate customers on security vulnerability identification and prevention systems
• Explain platform differentiation in speed, accuracy, and flexibility compared to other solutions
• Relay customer requirements to internal product and development teams
• Reduce customer friction during adoption through automation, process refinement, or external content creation

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience working with customers in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support
• Deep understanding of developer workflows and build systems, including CI/CD environments such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps
• Exposure to application security, vulnerability management, and static analysis programs
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, a similar technical field, boot-camp completion, or equivalent practical experience

• Base salary range of $152,000 - $190,000 USD with uncapped OTE of $217,000 - $272,000 USD (range listed for San Francisco Bay Area candidates)
