Housekeeping Aide

Franciscan Village, operated by Franciscan Ministries, is a senior living community in Lemont, Illinois, that provides assisted living, memory support assisted living, skilled nursing and long-term care, plus an onsite rehabilitation clinic with inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies. The community seeks a full-time Housekeeping Aide to handle cleaning and maintenance across resident and common areas. The position pays between $16.00 and $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and maintain a safe environment in all designated areas using proper germicide products and following infection control practices at all times
• Clean, vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors and carpets
• Clean windows and dust blinds and woodwork
• Clean resident beds and rooms upon discharge while handling infectious waste appropriately
• Maintain work carts, supply closets, and non-motorized equipment in stocked and clean condition
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and updates

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No licenses or certifications required
• No prior experience required; housekeeping experience preferred
