Life Enrichment Assistant- Skilled Care

This full-time Life Enrichment Assistant role supports resident activities in the skilled care setting at Franciscan Ministries, located at 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046. The position follows a Tuesday-Saturday schedule from 8:30am to 4:30pm and serves as the department contact in the Director's absence while providing clerical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily administrative tasks including copying, faxing, typing monthly calendars, and answering phones.
• Help plan, organize, and implement all activity programs at the community.
• Complete all required departmental forms.
• Transport residents to and from activities.
• Feed and clean pets used for daily pet therapy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of programming or event planning experience preferred.
• Limited travel may be required to facilitate off-site activities.
