Server

Franciscan Ministries seeks full-time and part-time Servers for its dining services operations in Homer Glen, Illinois. The roles support meal service and kitchen upkeep in a residential care environment with dining rooms serving residents. Positions are permanent, with pay ranging from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and set tables in the dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas, including vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus tables in the dining room as needed and process dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Store clean dishes in designated locations.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage in the appropriate manner.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification if required.
• 1+ years of dining services experience preferred; no prior experience required.
