Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

This Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is with Franciscan Ministries at The Village at Victory Lakes, a skilled and assisted living community in Lindenhurst, IL. Full-time and part-time schedules are available with a weekend differential. The role supports residents through assistance with daily living tasks, monitoring, and engagement in a senior care setting.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting according to individual care plans and community procedures.
• Perform lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting of residents between beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
• Support dining services at assigned meals by setting up, delivering trays, providing feeding assistance, cleaning up, and documenting intake.
• Observe residents for changes in physical or cognitive condition and report findings to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Distribute nutritional supplements at scheduled times, assist residents as needed, and record consumption per policy.
• Take part in life enrichment activities and support resident participation in social and spiritual programs.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of all resident care provided.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned and follow all updated policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification as required by state regulations.
• At least one year of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.

Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $18.00 to $24.00, with pay up to $22.00 per hour.
• Weekend differential of $3.00 per hour.
