Asstd Living Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Day Shift

Franciscan Ministries is hiring an Assisted Living Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shift at its assisted living community in Homer Glen, Illinois. The position supports residents by delivering personal care, medication reminders, and monitoring of physical and cognitive status during daytime hours. The hourly pay range is $18.00 to $20.00.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting according to care plans and community procedures.
• Perform lifting, turning, transferring, positioning, and transporting of residents between beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
• Provide dining room support at assigned mealtimes including tray delivery, feeding assistance, set-up, clean-up, and documentation of meal intake.
• Deliver nutritional supplements at scheduled times and assist residents as needed to complete intake, with documentation per policy.
• Monitor residents' physical and cognitive condition and report changes to nursing staff and supervisors.
• Participate in life enrichment programming and assist with meaningful activities for residents.
• Complete resident care documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow all community policies and procedures, including any updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• One or more years of paid or volunteer experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to assist with resident transfers, positioning, and physical care tasks.
