Nursing Assistants- CNA/STNA

Nursing Assistants (CNA/STNA) are needed at Mount Alverna Village, a continuing care retirement community operated by Franciscan Ministries in Parma, Ohio. The site provides independent living, memory support assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care, plus an onsite rehabilitation clinic that delivers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The hourly pay range is $20.00 to $23.00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care assistance as required or directed
• Observe and report changes in a resident's physical or emotional condition to the licensed nurse
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and coworkers
• Complete a minimum of 12 hours of in-service education each year
• Support the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid license on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry
• State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
• One year of caregiving experience
• Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
