Nurse- RN/ LPN

Mount Alverna Village, operated by Franciscan Ministries in Parma, Ohio, is a continuing care retirement community that provides independent living, memory support assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care. An onsite rehabilitation clinic delivers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy. The facility seeks RNs and LPNs to deliver direct nursing care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of Nursing Assistants to maintain quality of care.
• Manage admission, transfer, and discharge of residents.
• Inform physicians and other health care professionals of changes in resident conditions.
• Respond to all emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and updates.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active license that permits practice in the state where the associate is hired to work.
• 1+ years of nursing experience.
