Server

University Place, a continuing care retirement community operated by Franciscan Ministries, seeks part-time and full-time Servers for its location in West Lafayette, Indiana. The CCRC provides independent living, assisted living, memory support assisted living, and skilled nursing/long-term care, along with an onsite rehabilitation clinic that delivers inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapies.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and set tables in the dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas including vents, fryers, flattop, range, steamers, ovens, refrigerators, coolers, and storage areas.
• Bus dining room as needed and send dishes through the dishwashing machine.
• Wash pots and pans as needed.
• Put clean dishes away in appropriate places.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed.
• Dispose of garbage appropriately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• ServSafe certification if required.
• No prior experience required; 1+ years of dining services experience preferred.
