Cook

This full-time Cook III position is located at TidePointe, a Vi Community senior living facility in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The schedule is 12 pm to 8 pm five days per week with varying days. Compensation is $19.52 to $23.91 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all types of food items while meeting quality standards
• Ensure safe handling of food and ingredients at all times
• Apply food fabrication techniques
• Produce basic soups and sauces
• Work across three or more production stations

Requirements

• Minimum two years of basic line cooking experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living setting
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Food Handler certificate or willingness to obtain as required
• Valid driver's license where applicable
• Basic knowledge across all kitchen functions
• Ability to follow recipe cards accurately
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems
