Registered Nurse - On Call

This on-call Registered Nurse position is at Vi at Highlands Ranch, a senior living community in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The role provides nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting at 2850 Classic Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. The position is compensated at a flat rate of $46.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned residents including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatments
• Conduct quality assurance and performance improvement activities
• Supervise staff members assigned to the unit
• Establish and maintain relationships with residents, families, and members of the health care team

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; bachelor's degree preferred
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Colorado
• Working knowledge of long-term care
• Current CPR certification approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification
• Minimum six months of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Experience or continuing education in care of the elderly preferred
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn required systems
