Registered Dietician - Dining Services Manager

This Registered Dietitian position serves as Nutrition Services Manager at Vi Living's Grayhawk senior community in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role oversees Care Center Food and Beverage Operations and is based at 7501 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. The schedule supports full-time operations with a posted pay range of USD $74,300.63 - USD $92,862.79 per year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to maintain quality dining services.
• Collaborate with community food and beverage staff to uphold sanitation and HACCP standards in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change reviews for residents per federal and state guidelines.
• Review monthly and weekly resident weights to identify significant changes.
• Perform monthly nutritional reviews for high-risk residents, including those experiencing significant weight loss or gain, pressure ulcers, hemodialysis, or tube feeding.
• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and health plans to create and implement dietary care plans and deliver counseling when required.
• Consult with physicians, nurse practitioners, dialysis dietitians, and other healthcare personnel to establish appropriate diet restrictions and nutritional requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of clinical nutrition experience
• State certification in food service sanitation
• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of HACCP preferred
