Certified Nursing Assistant

The Certified Nursing Assistant role is open at Vi Living in Glenview, Illinois. This position supports residents at the Vi at The Glen community located at 2500 Indigo Lane. The CNA works as part of the care team assisting licensed staff with resident needs in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff with activities of daily living for assigned residents
• Perform light housekeeping, dining and tray services, and escort services
• Conduct vital signs, weights, and other assigned care-related tasks
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
• Notify staff of resident condition changes as they occur

Requirements

• Current state CNA certification
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Current First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Food handlers certification where required
• Certified Medical Technician or Certified Medication Aide certification where required
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn
