Housekeeping Supervisor

Vi Living seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor for its senior living community at 19333 W. Country Club Drive in Aventura, Florida. The role assists the Director of Housekeeping with oversight of cleanliness standards and laundry operations across resident apartments and common areas. The position operates on a standard schedule within a continuing care retirement environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housekeeping and Laundry staff
• Monitor community cleanliness and laundry processing
• Order and control supplies
• Track materials inventory
• Clean resident apartments and common areas as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years housekeeping or laundry experience in Hospitality, Healthcare, Environmental Services, or Senior Living
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Certification as Certified Executive Housekeeper (C.E.H.) through the International Executive Housekeepers Association plus
• Valid and current driver's license where applicable
• Capability to operate and maintain housekeeping and laundry equipment including pressing machines, commercial washers and dryers, and buffing machines
• Knowledge of applicable state regulations
• Knowledge of Infection Control, Hazardous Waste, and Disaster Plan procedures
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Compliance with Florida Care Provider Background Screening process
