Lifestyle Coordinator

The Lifestyle Coordinator role at Vi Living supports programming at the Vi at Aventura senior living community located in Aventura, Florida. The position assists the Lifestyle department with planning and delivering resident activities focused on whole-person wellness. The role also provides backup leadership for the department when the Lifestyle Director is absent.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and execution of programs, activities, and special events that promote whole-person wellness for residents
• Recruit and coordinate outside volunteers, independent contractors, and community resources
• Provide leadership for the Lifestyle department in the absence of the Lifestyle Director

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in recreation or equivalent experience assessing, designing, and implementing social, educational, recreational, and leisure activities for an active senior population (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required)
• Associate Degree (preferred)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process
