Lead Driver

The Lead Driver role is based at Vi at The Glen, a senior living community operated by Vi Living in Glenview, Illinois. The position centers on transporting residents to appointments and outings while supporting the Lifestyle Director with operational tasks. The site is located at 2500 Indigo Lane, Glenview, IL 60026.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles including bus, van, limousine, sedan, and trams
• Provide all appropriate assistance to residents during outings
• Complete operational tasks involving driving
• Assist the Lifestyle Director with scheduling, recordkeeping, and training

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience as a bus or van driver
• Valid and current driver's license for the vehicle class driven at time of hire
• Willingness to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them
• Clean DMV driving record to be maintained
• Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area
