Host/Hostess- Evenings & Weekends

The Host/Hostess role is available at Vi at La Jolla Village, a senior living community operated by Vi Living at 8515 Costa Verde Blvd, San Diego CA 92122. The position covers evenings and weekends. Duties focus on dining room operations for residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record all reservations in the dining reservation system
• Greet and seat residents and guests according to established quality and service standards
• Perform seating assignments promptly to support guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Ability to operate a Point of Sale (POS) system
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Prior restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain it as required
