Registered Dietitian Clinical Skilled Nursing On Call

This per diem Registered Dietitian position is with Vi Living at Vi at Bentley Village, located at 850 Retreat Dr, Naples, FL 34110. The role supports the Care Center Food and Beverage Operations in a skilled nursing setting and follows a flexible schedule to cover staff time off and volume fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience.
• Work closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete nutritional initial, quarterly, annual, and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
• Review monthly and weekly weights to identify residents with significant change.
• Complete nutritional reviews monthly on high-risk residents including those with significant weight loss or gain, pressure ulcers, hemodialysis, or tube feeding.
• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary care plans and provide nutritional counseling as needed.
• Consult with physicians and other health care personnel such as Nurse Practitioners and Dialysis Dietitians to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience.
• State certification in food service sanitation.
• Registered Dietitian credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
