Certified Caregiver-PT

The Certified Caregiver-PT is a part-time position at Vi at Grayhawk, an assisted living community operated by Vi Living and located at 7501 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. The role supports residents in a senior living setting and follows a schedule of 1:45pm-10:15pm, two days per week including every other weekend on a rotation covering Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical functions to assist licensed resident care staff with resident care
• Provide personal care and psychosocial support to residents as assigned by the supervisor
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Help maintain a safe environment for residents
• Record vital signs and weights as assigned
• Support and participate in resident activities and socialization
• Assist with dining services and tray service as needed
• Identify and report deviations from safe practice
• Complete other care-related duties as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred
• Current state certification required
• Food handlers certification required where applicable
• Current CPR certification required
• Current First Aid certification required, or ability to obtain certification
