Cook II

The Cook II role supports food preparation at Vi at Silverstone, a senior living community managed by Vi Living and located at 23005 N. 74th Street in Scottsdale, Arizona. The position involves assisting with meal production for residents along with related kitchen tasks on a full-time basis. The pay range is USD $19.89 - USD $23.86 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area
• Receive and stock deliveries using proper rotational practices
• Assist kitchen attendants as needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in a high-quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living community preferred
• Basic knife skills
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment
• Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Possess or obtain Food Handler certificate as required
• Valid and current driver's license where applicable
