LPN/LVN

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) role is available at Vi Living's Vi at Aventura community in Aventura, Florida. The position is located at 19333 W. Country Club Drive, Aventura, FL 33180 and focuses on care for residents in a senior living setting. The hourly rate for this role is $38.00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and services to residents through identification of resident needs
• Implement prescribed interventions along with evaluating outcomes and conditions
• Perform personal care for residents as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems and enhance care delivery
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
• Current First Aid certification or willingness and ability to obtain First Aid certification
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (preferred)
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients (preferred)
• Food handlers certification where required
• Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process
