Floor Technician/Houseperson

The Floor Technician/Houseperson role is open at Vi Living, a senior living community located at 19333 W. Country Club Drive, Aventura, FL 33180. This position supports floor maintenance and general cleaning across common areas of the facility. The schedule and team structure follow standard operations for environmental services in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard housekeeping equipment to perform routine carpet and hard surface floor restoration and maintenance in common areas
• Perform minor repairs on an as-needed basis
• Clean common areas of the community

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in floor care, housekeeping, or janitorial work in a Hospitality, Healthcare, Environmental Services, or Senior Living Environment (preferred)
• Valid and current driver's license where applicable
• Demonstrated skill in operating and maintaining equipment
• Knowledge of floor care procedures
• Skill with chemical solution and dilution ratios
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process
