Dining Room Manager

The Dining Room Manager role at Vi Living is based at the senior living community at 620 Sand Hill Road in Palo Alto, California. This position oversees all dining venues, including the Care Center, for residents and guests. The schedule and team structure follow standard operations for a high-end retirement community food and beverage department.

Responsibilities

• Manage all dining venues including the Care Center
• Oversee delivery of dining services to residents and guests

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in high-end restaurant, club, hotel, or retirement community food and beverage operations
• High school diploma
• College degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred
• Food Handlers certification or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain
• Certified Dietary Manager or Certified Food Protection Professional license preferred
• Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with POS system
• Knowledge of current service styles and techniques
• Working knowledge of budgets and reporting
