Cook

The Cook role is with Vi Living at their senior living community located at 620 Sand Hill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The position supports food preparation and kitchen operations for residents in this setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work area.
• Assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices.
• Assist kitchen attendant as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience within a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel, or senior living company preferred.
• Basic knife skills.
• Ability to handle kitchen equipment.
• Use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handler certificate, as required.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license, where applicable.
