LPN/LVN

The Licensed Practical Nurse position is at Vi at Lakeside Village, a senior living community operated by Vi Living in Lantana, Florida. This role supports care for residents through direct nursing services and coordination with the care team. The schedule and shift pattern are not specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and services to residents by identifying resident needs and implementing prescribed interventions
• Evaluate resident outcomes and conditions
• Perform personal care for residents as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the care team to resolve resident care problems and enhance care delivery
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduation from a School of Nursing for Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses
• Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications
• Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to obtain First Aid certification
• Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (preferred)
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients (preferred)
• Food handlers certification where required
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn
• Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process
