Job Description
The Management Advancement Program is a six-month rotational leadership development role at Belmont Village Senior Living Corporate in San Diego, California. The program operates in senior living communities that provide independent living, assisted living, and memory care services to adults age 65 and older. Participants complete training across departments while supported by a dedicated preceptor, with the option to advance into a Management-in-Training track or community management positions upon completion.
Responsibilities
- Complete an 8-week rotational externship with hands-on exposure to all key departments, including luxury culinary services and research-based memory care programming.
- Advance to a 4-month operations fellowship upon successful completion of the externship, specializing in one track such as sales, business office management/HR, or resident enrichment with mentorship from department heads.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Gerontology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business, Finance, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Resources, Education, or Nursing.
- Availability for the 2026 program cycle in the Greater San Diego market.
