Job Description
This Facilities Asset Analyst position is based at Belmont Village Senior Living Corporate in Houston, Texas, and operates fully in-office. The early-career role supports the capital expenditure program across a portfolio of 36 senior living communities and reports to the Capex Program Leader, with primary focus on facilities asset management, project tracking, and renovation coordination.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly capex reports to leadership and stakeholders.
- Update and maintain capex tracking records for every community in the portfolio.
- Monitor project timelines, identify delays, and escalate issues as required.
- Enter and manage data in the VENA, Concur, and Timberline platforms.
- Create PowerPoint presentations for partner updates and annual capex requests.
- Convert project data and summaries into executive-ready presentation decks.
- Assist with materials for ownership reviews.
- Manage the unit renovation pipeline across communities.
- Issue purchase orders, track orders, inventory, and delivery schedules with unit renovation vendors.
- Coordinate schedules between the Capex Program Leader, Executive Directors, and Building Engineers.
- Maintain current renovation records and documentation.
- Support annual capex budget preparation and ongoing tracking.
- Reconcile actual expenditures against approved budgets.
- Flag variances and assist with forecasting updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Construction Management, Finance, Operations, or a related discipline
- 1–5 years of experience in real estate, hospitality, senior living, or facilities management as a Project Coordinator, Capital Projects Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator, Construction Administrator, Operations Analyst, or CapEx Analyst
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for reporting, budgeting, procurement, and project tracking
- Experience with ERP or project management systems such as Vena, Timberline, Concur, or similar platforms
- Ability to travel up to 20% annually
