Management Advancement Program

The Management Advancement Program is a six-month leadership development track at Belmont Village Senior Living in San Jose, California. The program consists of an eight-week rotational externship followed by a four-month operations fellowship and is open to recent graduates. Training locations for 2026 include Houston, Greater Miami-Dade, Los Angeles, and Greater San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Complete an eight-week rotational externship with hands-on exposure to all key departments, including luxury culinary services and research-based memory care programming.
• Upon promotion, enter a four-month operations fellowship and complete a core competency assessment.
• Specialize in one track such as Sales, Business Office Management/HR, or Resident Enrichment under mentorship from department heads.

Requirements

• Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Academic background in one of the following fields: Gerontology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Business, Finance, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Management, Hospitality Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Resources, Education, or Nursing.
