Collaborating Physician (1099) Part time-Remote (Must live in Indiana)

HarmonyCares operates as a national value-based provider of in-home primary care services for patients with complex healthcare needs. The organization seeks a part-time 1099 Collaborating Physician to work remotely while residing in Indiana. The physician supports APNs who conduct in-home and telehealth wellness assessments, with no prescriptive authority or direct patient treatment by the APNs.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation to APNs via telecommunication or in-person meetings to address questions arising from patient assessments.
• Conduct annual chart reviews on a regular basis.
• Review APN activities to confirm compliance with organizational policies, procedures, state regulations, and quality standards.
• Maintain accountability for service quality delivered to external and internal customers.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Medical Physician License.
• Board certified or board eligible status.
• Completion of residency training.
• One year of experience in healthcare management.
• Experience with risk adjustment.
• Residence in Indiana.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
