Enrichment Leader

This full-time Enrichment Leader position is with Belmont Village Senior Living, a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care programs in Albany, California. The role follows a Sunday/Monday schedule of 8:30am-5:00pm and focuses on specialized programming for residents with dementia. The position involves leading small-group activities under an established memory enrichment curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs
• Prepare materials and conduct research to deliver memory enrichment activities
• Assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation, and maintain compliance documentation

Requirements

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 months experience leading group activities with a special needs population
• Ability to work the defined Sunday/Monday 8:30am-5:00pm schedule, which may include weekends
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
