Charge Nurse

The Charge Nurse role is a PRN/On-call position at Belmont Village Senior Living in Aliso Viejo, California. This luxury senior living community operates multiple sites across the United States and Mexico. The position centers on medication administration, clinical oversight, and coordination with physicians and families for residents in a senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate ancillary services, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents per physician orders and document any adverse reactions or clinical observations
• Oversee Medication Technicians and caregivers to ensure resident care and service plans are followed
• Make situational decisions and manage conflict constructively
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in California
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Clear verbal and written communication in English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
