Line Cook

Line Cook position at Belmont Village Aventura in Aventura, Florida, a senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care programs. The role operates in a commercial kitchen preparing meals for residents and guests on a schedule without late-night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cook entrees and sides from basic ingredients following designated recipes and quality benchmarks
• Adhere to recipe instructions, control serving sizes, and arrange plates for visual appeal
• Coordinate preparation timelines across multiple concurrent orders
• Keep the kitchen area clean and organized in line with all applicable regulations and internal policies
• Use checklists and established procedures to keep the kitchen stocked and in working order

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Demonstrated ability in knife handling, precise measurements, and standard cooking techniques
• Availability for early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as assigned
• Conditional offer subject to successful State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job-related physical, and TB test
