Caregiver Assisted Living

This part-time Caregiver role is located at Belmont Village Senior Living in Aventura, Florida, within a newly constructed community that provides assisted living and memory care services. The position follows a 2nd shift schedule of 2:30 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. A Certified Nursing Assistant license is not required, though applicants with this credential or prior caregiving experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to an assigned group of senior residents in the assisted living and memory care community
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided, and promptly report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a professional caregiver to a group of seniors in a licensed residential setting
