Caregiver Dementia

Belmont Village Senior Living operates an Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Atlanta, Georgia. The Caregiver Dementia role provides hands-on support to senior residents on full-time schedules covering all shifts or part-time schedules on 1st shift. Duties focus on daily care within a dementia care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care
• Promote socialization and participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and report observed changes to supervisors
• Uphold standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
• Full-time availability across all shifts or part-time availability on 1st shift
