Medication Tech

The Medication Technician role is a full-time position at Belmont Village Senior Living in Atlanta, Georgia, on a 7a-7p schedule. The position is based in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community and involves assisting residents with medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse while supporting administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications according to physician orders and community guidelines while assisting with ADL care when required
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and report medication reactions or refusals to the supervising licensed nurse
• Measure resident vital signs and monitor for any responses or side effects
• Participate in shift meetings and provide updates on resident conditions to nursing staff
• Support licensed nurses with administrative tasks as needed
• Follow all resident rights along with state and federal regulations covering infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Caregiver in a licensed community or facility
• C.N.A. License in states where required
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification in states where required
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
