Dementia Caregiver

The Dementia Caregiver role at Belmont Village Senior Living is based in Buffalo Grove, IL, and supports seniors in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Full-time and part-time positions are available on all shifts. Full-time schedules follow a 4 on 2 off rotation, with availability required for weekends and holidays as assigned, and second-shift work receives an additional $1 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care setting
• Support resident participation in community activities while maintaining safety and well-being
• Record daily care and services in resident documentation and report observed changes to supervisors
• Maintain standards for care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Deliver hands-on help with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clear verbal and written communication in English
• Prior experience as a primary caregiver or relevant caregiving training
