Dining Room Server Waitstaff

This full-time or part-time Dining Room Server position is located at Belmont Village Senior Living in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The role is based in an assisted living community and includes table service in the on-site restaurant plus support for special events. Full-time schedules run 10:30am-7:30pm with varying days; part-time schedules include mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive table service to assigned tables in the on-site restaurant
• Take orders accurately, provide menu recommendations, and serve food and beverages on time
• Verify that each order meets temperature, presentation, and accuracy standards before serving
• Prepare the dining room for service by setting flatware, condiments, and beverages
• Support meal service during community special events and celebrations
• Keep the dining room and assigned tables clean while meeting guest needs during meals

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Preferred: knowledge of dining etiquette and prior restaurant server experience
