Driver

The Driver role at Belmont Village Senior Living in Buffalo Grove, IL, supports transportation needs for residents at this luxury senior living community. Weekend availability is required. Duties center on safe transport to appointments and recreational outings using company vehicles such as wheelchair vans, buses, and cars, along with vehicle upkeep and safety inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in compliance with all applicable laws and local ordinances.
• Help residents enter and exit vehicles, including operation of mechanical wheelchair lifts when necessary.
• Perform routine vehicle upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks such as refueling and scheduling service appointments.
• Support scheduled resident activities when needed.
• Provide backup coverage for receptionist or concierge functions as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL with passenger endorsement may be required in some states.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
