This full-time Medication Technician position is at Belmont Village Senior Living in Burbank, California. The role supports residents in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community on the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm with a 4/2 rotation. Duties include medication administration and record-keeping under nurse supervision in a licensed senior living setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer routine medications according to physician orders and community protocols
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Report medication reactions or refusals to the supervising licensed nurse
• Monitor and record resident vital signs and observe side effects
• Attend shift meetings and provide updates on resident conditions to nursing staff
• Follow all resident rights, state, and federal regulations including infection control, fire safety, and hazardous materials guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver in a licensed community or facility
• C.N.A. license where required by state
• Current Medication Technician or Aide Certification where required by state
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
