LVN Charge Nurse

This part-time LVN Charge Nurse role is located at Belmont Village Senior Living, a luxury senior living community in Encinitas, California. The position follows a Friday schedule from 6:30am to 3:00pm and focuses on medication administration and clinical oversight for residents in a senior care setting. The facility operates multiple communities across the United States and Mexico City.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report changes of condition or other clinical care information to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents according to physician orders, report adverse reactions or clinical observations, and document as necessary
• Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks performed by Medication Technicians and care providers
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in the state where the community is located
• CPR certification or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Minimum one year of medication administration experience preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
