Caregiver Dementia

This PRN Caregiver role at Belmont Village Senior Living supports seniors in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community located in Coral Gables, Florida. The position involves hands-on assistance with daily living activities for residents in a fast-paced senior living setting. Shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of senior residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Encourage socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining resident safety and well-being
• Document daily care and services accurately and report observed changes to supervisors promptly
• Maintain standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
