Staffing Scheduling Coordinator

This position is for a Staffing Scheduling Coordinator at Belmont Village Senior Living Corporate in Coral Gables, Florida. The role schedules Nurses, Med Techs, and Caregivers across senior living communities and provides administrative support to the Director of Resident Care Services for resident files and clerical tasks. It operates in a fast-paced environment and requires use of On Shift scheduling software and Kronos for time and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Use On Shift scheduling software to build 24-hour staff schedules, arrange coverage for call-offs, and process approved time-off requests.
• Manage schedules to distribute hours evenly, reduce overtime, and limit contract labor usage.
• Coordinate new hire training sessions and assist with new employee orientation activities.
• Perform data entry and clerical support for department supplies, payroll, and time and attendance records in Kronos.
• Prioritize hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction in all interactions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite, including basic Excel skills.
• Proficient reading, comprehension, writing, and mathematical ability.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Capability to handle confidential information responsibly.
