Licensed Practical Nurse

This Licensed Practical Nurse position is with Belmont Village Senior Living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role operates in an Assisted Living and Memory Care community on a 3p-11p schedule with every other weekend required. Duties include medication administration, clinical documentation, and oversight of care providers.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physician orders, coordinate with ancillary providers, and report changes in resident condition to physicians and families
• Administer medications to an assigned group of residents per physician orders and document any adverse reactions or clinical observations
• Oversee Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure resident care and service plans are followed
• Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports

Requirements

• Active LVN or LPN license in Florida
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• One year of medication administration experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills
