Enrichment Activity Leader

This full-time Enrichment Activity Leader position is with Belmont Village Senior Living at their Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Carol Stream, Illinois. The role focuses on planning and leading specialized activities for seniors with cognitive disabilities. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs
• Prepare materials and conduct research to lead memory enrichment activities
• Assist with cognitive assessments, track resident participation, and maintain compliance documentation

Requirements

• Associate degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population
• Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including weekends
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
