Dementia Caregiver

Belmont Village Senior Living operates an Assisted Living and Memory Care community in Carol Stream, Illinois. The Dementia Caregiver role provides hands-on support to residents on a 4-on/2-off schedule that includes weekends and holidays across first shift (6:30 a.m.–2:45 p.m.), second shift (2:30 p.m.–10:45 p.m.), or third shift (10:30 p.m.–6:45 a.m.). Team members serve seniors in both Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist an assigned group of residents with Activities of Daily Living in the Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Support resident socialization and participation in community activities while maintaining safety and well-being
• Document daily care services accurately and report observed changes to supervisors promptly
• Maintain standards for care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider
