Housekeeper

Full-time Housekeeper role at Belmont Village Senior Living in Glenview, Illinois. The position covers a luxury senior living community with a fixed schedule of Tuesday through Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm. Work focuses on resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in resident apartments and bathrooms through dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and spot-cleaning carpets
• Collect, wash, fold, and return resident laundry items on a timely basis
• Collect and dispose of resident trash, remove waste, and replace trash can liners
• Keep administrative offices, hallways, and common spaces clean and sanitized, including dusting, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets
• Clean and sanitize common area bathrooms, restock supplies, and maintain a tidy appearance
• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the community on a regular schedule

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a housekeeper in hotels or a comparable setting
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Successful completion of post-offer background check, drug screening, physical examination, and TB testing
