Enrichment Leader

This full-time or part-time Enrichment Leader position is with Belmont Village Senior Living at its Glenview, Illinois community. The role supports Independent and Assisted Living residents through activity programming on a schedule of 9am-5:30pm Sunday through Thursday for full-time staff or Friday and Saturday for part-time staff. Duties center on planning and delivering programs that meet the standards for Whole Brain Fitness while assisting with resident transitions, events, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct activity programs for small groups or individual residents in the Independent and Assisted Living community.
• Deliver one-on-one engagement sessions to support new residents during their transition into the community.
• Update and maintain bulletin boards to promote upcoming activities and events.
• Prepare materials and perform research to lead life-long learning activities that align with Whole Brain Fitness standards.
• Track resident participation data and maintain required compliance documentation.
• Assist with planning and coordination of resident outings and community events.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience coordinating and leading group activities.
• Ability to work the defined schedule, which may include weekends.
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of workplace technology, including the MS Office suite.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
