Enrichment Leader

This full-time Enrichment Leader role is with Belmont Village Senior Living in Houston, Texas. The position operates on a Sunday-Thursday schedule from 8:30am to 5pm and supports residents in Independent and Assisted Living settings. The role focuses on planning and delivering activity programs that promote socialization, learning, and development for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and teach activity programs for small groups or individual residents in Independent and Assisted Living
• Provide one-on-one engagement with new residents to support their transition into the community
• Maintain bulletin boards to promote community activities and events
• Prepare materials and conduct research for life-long learning activities aligned with Whole Brain Fitness standards
• Track resident participation and maintain compliance documentation
• Assist with planning and coordination of resident outings and events

Requirements

• Associate’s degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, liberal arts, social sciences, education, theater, or related fields; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum one year of experience coordinating and leading group activities
• Availability to work Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm
• Demonstrated knowledge and use of MS Office suite in the workplace
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
